Desktop Tower Defense

Every once in a while I sit down and take all of my scattered notes and compile them into one big list. This works well for me for about 3 days then it’s back to scribbling on any piece of paper I can find. I’d like to move to a fully online task management system (one I’ve wanted to code myself forever) but really lack any free time to do it. Someday, maybe.
Have you ever heard of viral games? Well, they’re called that for a good reason. Recently a co-worker introduced me to one game written in flash that I just can’t seem to beat, and have determined that I will! Someday, maybe. Anyway, it’s a strategy game where you place defense towers on the board and try to stop the little “creeps” from making it to the other side. I can’t even beat the easy level, although I’ve gotten close once or twice. It’s called Desktop Tower Defense. Good luck!
I’ve searched through all of my news links today and didn’t find very much of interest. Although, on CNN’s homepage as the main story it was announced today that Don Imus was canned by CBS for the racist remarks he said on the air the other day. He is 67 years old so maybe it’s about time for him to retire anyway.
UPDATE: With just 2 lives left, I just beat the easy level. Yea for me!![]()

I use evernote for mine. I like it because you can keep notes on it and can also right click and copy directly to it. If you copy to it off a website it also provides a link you can double click to take you back to the website. You can also copy pictures and everything else to it. It has folders so you can organize your notes also. I have Jeep folders, church folders, quote folders, joke folders, etc. It works great for me because all the time I’ll read some little hint about Jeeps I’ll want to save but I don’t want to save the whole web page just for that one little tip. Now I just highlight it, right click, and hit “add to Evernote”.

Wow, looks pretty sweet, but it’s a Windows only app. I may be able to get it working under Wine … hmm.

I always forget that you are one of those people who tread off the beaten path…which I should note I downloaded ubuntu last night. It only took four hours. I’m not sure what to do with it now but its down loaded. We’ll talk on Sunday, I’ll bring my laptop.

It is flash based so it might run ok under Wine. You should hope it does not because it will suck your time away.
