My Geek Notes

The idea for the site itself first occurred to me a while back when I realized I had quite a collection of notes documenting Linux applications and processes. I started keeping these notes because of a few unfortunate times where I had to rebuild a computer and couldn’t remember how to tweak this or that; most noticeably when working with a Linux server.

I then realized that there are many things out there that require notes, some geeky and some not. Being a geek and having many friends and associates that are geeks, I’ve decided to focus on the geek stuff for now. Over the next few weeks we’ll have sections covering Linux, Windows, Macintosh, programming, graphic design & animation, video games, RPGS, comic books … and the list goes on.

I’m hoping that getting these “notes” out of our heads and onto the web will be a benefit to others out there. If nothing else, it will help clear up some space in my head and stress off my chest.
